The FS532DL100 laser diode module manufactured by BrandNew is a cost-effective, highly coherent laser source. The FS532DL100 laser diode chip is available in an industry standard hermetically sealed 14-pin butterfly free-space collimated output package.
Fiber Maintenance:
If the fiber connectors in pigtail packaging may have dust or other contaminants deposited on their surfaces, we recommend cleaning them before each use. The laser intensity at the center of the fiber tip can be very high and may burn the fiber tip if contaminants are present. Although the connectors on these pigtailed laser diodes are cleaned and capped before shipment, we cannot guarantee that they will remain free of contaminants after being removed from the packaging. We also recommend turning off the laser when connecting or disconnecting the device to other fibers.
