The application of 1470nm wavelength is mainly medical treatment.
During the cutting process, the laser of 1470nm band is fully absorbed by the water in the tissue, and the water becomes hot until the cells burst, so it can perform high-precision cutting and gasification. Compared with the traditional solid-state Nd: YAG laser, 1470nm laser has a stronger tissue absorption rate and a shallower penetration depth. Therefore, during intracavitary surgery, it can effectively control the area where the tissue produces necrosis and avoid damage to normal tissue. 1470nm laser is most suitable for the repair of tiny tissues such as nerves, blood vessels, skin, intestines, etc.
