Why are diode lasers breakdown easily and expensive to repair?


The first thing is that in the case of equipment/devices that installed diode bars, the most expensive part is the diode bars, so when they burn, replacing them has a high cost.

The most common reasons why the laser diode is burned are the following:

1. The problem of cooling water in hair removal equipments:

.- Customers do not change water frequently.

.- It is essential - it is necessary to change and renew the water in the cooling system one time a month at least (depends on the usage frequency of work), with distilled water or pure water.

When using non-distilled, osmotic or pure water, the impurities pass into the cooling channels (Macro Channel - Micro Channel) of the diode bars. As a consequence, there is a decrease in the flow-fluence of water, preventing the diode bars from overheating and eventually burning.


2. The importance of the quality of bars.
