Product Description
CW Unmounted Laser Bar is a semiconductor laser, whose working principle is based on the electron transition and light amplification effect of semiconductor materials. When current passes through the semiconductor material, electrons jump from low energy level to high energy level, and then release energy and emit photons through radiation recombination. These photons are continuously amplified in the resonant cavity, and finally form laser output.
The laser bar is packaged using double-sided gold-tin solder sintering technology. The package structure includes a WCu heat sink, Au80Sn20 solder, a semiconductor laser bar, and another layer of Au80Sn20 solder. During the packaging process, the laser bar is sintered in a tube furnace under nitrogen protection, and the temperature is controlled at 680-720°C to prevent the components from oxidizing at high temperatures. The melting point of the gold-tin alloy is sensitive to the specific gravity of the gold component. The appropriate specific gravity of the gold component can ensure the stability of the solder and the welding quality.
