Product Description
The small footprint and low height design is offered in a simplified and robust package measuring 64.0 x 21.5 x 9.2 mm³. The output power is attained by optically combining into the delivery fiber the output of electrically series connected single emitters. At 20W output power, the device features an operating current of 12.0A with >45% efficiency. Also, high-temperature operation at 55 degrees Celsius is attainable, allowing for less dedicated cooling capacity or operation in a harsh environment.
The light exiting the fiber has a circular and uniform intensity profile.
It allows the laser diodes and heat sink to be located remotely from where the laser light is used.
Defective fiber-coupled diode lasers can easily be replaced without changing the alignment of the device where the light is used.
Fiber-coupled devices can be easily combined with other fiber-optic components.
