2.5G Avalanche Photodiode-Transimpedance Amplifier
APD TIA (avalanche photodiode - transimpedance amplifier) is a type of photodetector that utilizes the avalanche effect. It converts the input optical signal into an electrical signal and amplifies it to increase the signal strength. Due to the avalanche effect, APD TIA has higher sensitivity and gain than PIN TIA. However, due to the complexity of its internal structure, APD TIA also has a higher noise level.
