These series 980nm pump module utilizes a planar construction with chip on subcarrier. The high power chip is hermetically sealed in a epoxy-free andflux-free 14-pin butterfly package and fittedwith a thermistor, thermoelectric cooler, andmonitor diode.
These series 980nm pump module uses FBG stabilization to "lock” theemission wavelength. lt provides a noise-free narrowband spectrum, even under changes in temperature,drive current,and opticalfeedback. Wavelength selection is availablefor applications that require the highestperformance in spectrum control with thehighest available powers. This module complies described in Telcordia GR-468-CORE requirement.
