50W 1550nm TO-Can Laser Diode
Description
We offer state-of-the-art 1550nm TO-mount laser diodes with up to 50W of optical output power. These versatile devices are classified as multimode devices and are available in standard 9 mm TO can packages to ensure compatibility with a wide range of systems. Operating at a low current of 1000 mA, these gallium nitride laser diodes emit light at 1550 nm and can be used in a variety of applications such as direct imaging, display technology and biomedical research. The lasers are housed in 9 mm diameter TO canisters with multiple transverse mode space configurations. These high-performance TO diode lasers achieve exceptional power of up to 50 watts in continuous wave (QCW) operation.

The so-called Fast Axis Collimation (FAC) lens compensates for the astigmatism that occurs in edge-emitting PLDs, thus ensuring that as many photons as possible reach the target.
