Brandnew have announced the release of 1273nm-1653.7nm Laser Diode for gas detection, using Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS) systems. This laser is available as a high performance “14 pin Butterfly” or “TO39” component (with integrated TEC and isolator).


This DFB-LD (including DFB-type semiconductor laser) is a laser that utilizes the Bragg reflection of a diffraction grating formed along an active waveguide to unify the laser longitudinal mode. It provides high wavelength stability and narrow linewidth. Setting the pitch of the diffraction grating enables the required wavelength to be obtained.


Wavelength range: 1273nm-1653.7nm

1653.7nm for CH4 detection

1512.2nm for NH3 detection

1273nm 1278nm for HF detection

1578.1nm 1590nm for H2S detection

1532.7nm for C2H2 detection

1626nm for C2H4 detection

1567.7nm for CO detection

1572.3nm for CO2 detection

1368.6nm 1392.5nm for H2O detection
