The principle of laser plastic welding: The laser beam penetrates the upper layer of light-transmitting material and reaches the surface of the lower light-absorbing material. The laser light energy is converted into heat energy to melt the surface. At the same time, the heat is transferred from the bottom surface to the pressure-bonded material by conduction. The contact surface of the upper light-transmitting workpiece is melted, thereby realizing laser thermal welding.
