The 2004nm DFB laser diode module manufactured by BrandNewTech is a cost-effective, high coherence laser source. The DFB laser diode chip is packaged in an industry standard sealed 14-pin butterfly free space collimated output package with built-in TEC and PD.

If dust or other contaminants may have accumulated on the surface of the fiber connector, we recommend cleaning it before each use. The laser intensity at the center of the fiber tip can be very high and may burn the fiber tip if contaminants are present. Although the connectors on these pigtailed laser diodes are cleaned and capped prior to shipment, we cannot guarantee that they will remain free of contamination once removed from the packaging.
