The heatsink structure is designed with excellent heat dissipation capacity so that we can connect up to tens of 80W laser diode bars in series on a single linear heatsink.
These linear arrays come with excellent qualities with expected life time of 10,000 hours.
The horizontal diode bars are arranged side-by-side, leading to a long linear array of emitters. Such an arrangement is more easily cooled, and may thus also allow for a higher output power per emitter. The emission pattern of a horizontal stack is suitable for, e.g., pumping of rod lasers, whereas it is probably less convenient when an approximately circular output beam is required. The number of diode bars in a horizontal stack (and thus the total output power) is more limited than in a vertical stack.
Scaleable diode laser output power, even into the multi-kW range, with reliable, long lifetime, industry proven, horizontal diode laser stacks and two-dimensional arrays. Combine diode laser arrays in almost unlimited ways to get the output power, wavelength and beam area you need, with options for conduction, microchannel, and tap water cooling.
Applications as wide ranging as solid-state laser pumping, directed energy weapons, military range finding and target designation, hair removal, and welding, all benefit from the high power and flexible configurations offered by these stacks
These Water-Cooled Laser Diode Linear Arrays are mainly designed for high power Nd:YAG rod lasers.
The regular wavelength is 808nm, and other wavelength can be customized (780nm, 880nm, 915nm, 976nm, 980nm or etc). The output power is 20W or 40W for each diode bar.
