Raman spectrum is a scattering spectrum. Raman spectroscopy is an analytical method based on the Raman scattering effect discovered by C.V. Raman, an Indian scientist. The scattering spectrum with different frequency from the incident light is analyzed to obtain the information of molecular vibration and rotation, and is applied to the study of molecular structure.
With the rapid development of laser technology and nanotechnology, Raman spectroscopy technology has become more and more mature in recent years, and the market demand shows a strong growth trend. Raman spectroscopy has been used in many different fields -- in fact, many applications require nondestructive, microscopic, chemical, and imaging analysis. Whether qualitative or quantitative data are needed, Raman analysis can provide important information quickly and easily. Whether the sample is solid, liquid, gas, colloid, ointment or powder, Raman can be used to rapidly characterize the chemical composition and structure of the sample.

Based on the market demand, BrandNew can provide 600mW 785nm fiber coupled diode laser for Raman Spectroscopy Applications.
These 785nm, 600mW wavelength stabilized laser diodes provide high ex-fiber output power at a narrow linewidth, stabilized by a Volume Bragg Grating.
The laser diode is optimized for Raman Spectroscopy, and is also used for metrology, sensing, bio-instrumentation, and analytical instrumentation applications. The laser is packaged in an industry standard 14-pin butterfly package, and includes a high power internal TEC for temperature control and laser output stability.
